The Beach
The beach runs from Blennerville, in the outskirts of Tralee, to Cloghane. This is about 13 miles and makes this one of the longest beaches in Ireland, a country which is famous for its beaches.
The stretch of beach which lies beside the Park, Aughacasla Strand, has golden sand as far as the eye can see in either direction.
Despite its attractions, the beach is rarely crowded and in May and September, when the weather is very often kind, you could be the only people on it.
Occasionally you may be joined by a farmer's cows taking a sunbathe and, if you are lucky, by a great horse cantering through the surf!
